El Limon in Spartanburg

Great food with fast service. Tried it for the first time tonight. Friendly staff. Generous portions of really good food. Never had to even ask for a refill on my drink.

I was there from Orlando Fla. on Mother’s Day weekend. The food is good and priced right. We had a nice young gentleman I forgot his name but he had white sneakers and jeans and he was very very nice

Best Horchata a Mexican authentic drink this drink is by far the best Horchata I've had love it. They make it by scratch and it's so good . The food is amazing as well this will be my go to place when I'm in a mood for Mexican foods.

Great menu, fajitas are delicious. Try the nacho fajitas.

Great food,and one of the best waiter we have had in a long time unfortunately we won't be eating here anymore due to the temperature being 85 degrees the last two visits we had to pay for our tea and leave it would have been cooler to eat outside we hate to not be able to eat here.

The service was kind of slow but the wait was worth it. The food was delicious and fresh. The staff is very friendly but they need to be a little bit more professional.

Called and placed order. Was told 10min. Got there about 15/20min later to pick it up. Walked in, was greeted quickly. I advised that I was there to pick up a call in order, the lady said “ok and walked off” stood for about 10min before another staff came to me and asked what I had and said oh your food is ready. Apparently it’s the bag that had been sitting in front of me the entire time I stood there. No biggie wasn’t really upset about it, was just like ....ok..... Ordered two cheese quesadillas and a “large order of chips, salsa, and queso”. The cheese quesadillas were only 4.85 a piece according to the receipt. So do the math, I was charged $17.80 for the chips because they gave me two large bags of chips and two Togo cups, one filled with salsa, one filled with queso. While that was way more than enough chips & dip, I would NEVER EVER be happy paying $17.80 for chips and dip. I went ahead and paid but I WONT be back.

Very clean and accessible restaurant. They serve big portions and for fair prices. We loved the food a lot and the staff members were super personal and chatty. I recommend this place.

Decently average food. Service was not that great. The menu did not say that one of the meals came with a side of beans. My friend cannot have beans and was very disappointed.

I absolutely love this El Limon over the one in Springfield off of hwy 176. The good taste so fresh and the service does NOT forget about you. Over all El Limon doesn't disappoint you.

Love this place! These guys are awesome! Everyone is always very nice and the food is always fantastic. I usually get the pollo loco and it's enough food to feed me for lunch and dinner. The beers are humongous and the prices are low. This is honestly the best Mexican restaurant in SC.

We've been patrons of El Limon for years. Their service is excellent, the food is excellent (try the ACP, add some hot salsa), and the frozen raspberry margarita I had tonight was fabulous. The whole restaurant sparkled because it was so clean.

Had drinks and food, very good. Staff is very friendly. Draft beer is ice cold.

The one near Westgate is always good.

Good selection of Mexican specialties. Chile relleno could use a larger Chile and less filling. It tasted good.

The beef in the enchilada was far too processed for my liking, the texture was too fine. Neither the beef or chicken enchiladas were more than average, it seemed like the only flavor was from the sauce. The taco that they graciously changed to Mexican style Al pastor was excellent, and the chips were good, but I really didn't taste a difference in the 2 salsa they served.

The food was great and the staff were also great. I definately reccommend the Vegitarian #1. Would definatly eat here again.

Food is always hot and fresh. Service is prompt and friendly. I especially like the pork carnitas menu items. Also they frequently have drink specials.

Healthy portion of Huevos Rancheros for 6 bucks and change. Good hot salsa if you request it. Watch out that they don't nickle and dime you at the register...tried to over charge me but I caught it. Server was very good.

I normally don't give reviews but this place deserves it. El limon is just The best Mexican restaurant in Spartanburg! Friendly staff, food is always cooked right and if you want to change something about your plate they always work with the costumer to please you, on top of that very reasonable prices, clean and nice atmosphere. Keep it up El Limon God bless this place!

Good food and good service. They put squash in their fajitas, which is something a number of Mexican restaurants do in the SC Upstate area. If you don't want that be sure to tell them to leave them out. Other wise, they do a good job.

Every time we come back to Spartanburg, my daughter loves to eat here! Mommy daughter day this is her pick for lunch. Tamales are always super good! Friendly service!

This is my favorite mexican place in the area. Prices and service are both good. The place is always clean and the food is usually really good only sometimes a little meh but never bad.

The food is disgusting except for two or three item on the menu, but the service was friendly and fast which is why we were often customers until new staff members were hired. My mother went there a few weeks ago and the waitress scanned her card twice, but when we went back to let them know the waitress started acting extremely rude. They didn’t return our money so we had to get the bank involved and that’s unnecessary, since we were weekly consumers. Needless to say we won’t be coming back any time soon.
